So far the deck has preformed really well and i am having alot of fun with it even though it plays much diffrent to mono white. While the changes to the Modern Banned and Restricted list don’t go into effect until this Wednesday (April 13th), we did manage to find a sweet Death and Taxes list that not only uses powerful Eldrazi, but also eschews using Eye of Ugin! Deck Overview- Legacy Eldrazi and Taxes Posted on June 6, 2016 June 6, 2016 by Ryan Overturf Eldrazi Displacer has had a dramatic impact on Standard and has demonstrated a surprising amount of playability in Modern, so I supposed it was only a matter of time before the card showed up in Legacy.

They have been a powerhouse in every format since the infamous Eldrazi winter, but are especially potent in Legacy due to the sheer number of Sol Lands available in the format.

This particular version was played to a 5-0 finish in a Magic Online League by Vlaluk. Eldrazi and Taxes is a hybrid of a control deck and a midrange deck. The deck is midrange due to playing hard to kill creatures such as Thought-Knot Seer and Reality Smasher . Eldrazi and Taxes. Last winning deck.

I hate the name for this deck. I try to have fun with deck names, but man, this one is just the worst. It does make it clear what’s in the deck though. If you know what goes into Death and Taxes decks and if you’re good at guessing the Eldrazi that fit in.
